CREATIVE MOVEMENT
age 3
The first step for aspiring dancers
or any child that enjoys movement.
Class will focus on imaginative
stretches, exercise and games that
will introduce the child to the
world of music, rhythm and dance.
PRESCHOOL PLAYERS

Scene 1
(Ages 2 & 3): Jump starts the
active imagination through movement and
song, as well as through pretending
games. Gently encourages the student to
gain confidence both physically and
verbally through repetition and
performance.

Scene 2 (Ages 4 & 5): Emphasizes
creative use of the body and encourages
confidence and imagination through
acting games, creative story telling, and
improvisation. Students will begin to
understand the value of a good audience,
as they support each other’s hard work.

Act I (Grades K-2): Creates a fun, safe
environment where students can explore
the imagination with confidence.
Encourages students to demonstrate their
own creativity through acting games,
story telling, and improvisation, and
invites the student to begin working with
scripted materials.

Act II (Grades 3-5): Working with
scripts, students will understand the
creative process of creating characters
and bringing them to life. Through
improvisation and acting games, students
will become comfortable with their
bodies and voices as creative tools, and
will discover and implement the use of
proper stage etiquette as they prepare
for their final performances.
CREATIVE ARTS
ages 3-4
For the young artist. Enjoy art
making with a focus on
enjoying the process. A variety
of fun projects in a supportive,
encouraging environment.

YOUNG EXPLORERS
WORLD ART
ages 6-8
Travel Around the world
through artistic discovery.
Students utilize a full range of
mixed media with a cross
cultural flare. Students explore
the art of far away lands in an
imaginative and playful
environment. Inspiring projects
that expand beyond the realm
of everyday school art.


EXPANDED MIXED MEDIA
ages 7-9
A creative forum where
imagination and spontaneity
are encouraged. Young artists
explore self expression through
energetic projects. A full
spectrum of drawing, painting,
mosaics, collage, sculpture,
mobiles, life sized puppets and
a few
surprises.

POTTERY  
ages 8-11
Basic to advanced techniques
with a flare for the creative.
Learn handbuilding, coil, slab
as well as working at the
wheel. Learn about firing and
glazing and come away with
finished pieces
PRE-BALLET WITH TAP           
Levels I,II ages 4-6
Students will learn more advanced
Ballet technique as they develop
strength and a solid
foundation for all forms of dance.
Dancers will build on what they
have learned in Creative
Movement and and work on  
more challenging exercises,
stretches and strength building in
preparation for Ballet I, Tap I and
Jazz I
JAZZ /TAP
ages 6 & up
A great combo class.For
students wishing to learn more
challenging steps and
combinations. All to great
upbeat music. Learn basic
choreography skills and how to
perform. Class will initially be
broken into a Jazz warm up
followed by Tap combinations
but may progress into
alternating disciplines from
week to week.
ACTING, MUSIC AND DANCE
MUSICAL THEATER FOR BEGINNERS
GRADES 4 - 8
Class will involve all aspects of the
theater. Learn how to put on a show.
From learning dialogue to staging, adding
musical numbers and choreography . Put
together pieces from different musicals
such as “You’re a Good Man
CharlieBrown” ,“Grease” , “Guys and
Dolls” and more. Dance styles taught
include hip hop, jazz, basic tap, basic
tumbling and movement for musical
theater.
BALLET
ages 6 & up
Learn the basic foundation for
this beautiful form of dance.
Proper technique is
emphasized as well as the joy
and beauty of dance. Ballet is
an incredible discipline that is
valuable to all dancers.
