Macy West
    Dance and Drama
    Macy has trained extensively in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and gymnastics at Showtime, School of
    Performing Arts and Champion.  Macy was the assistant dance teacher for two years with Jackie’
    s Junglenastics where she discovered her love for teaching young children. She takes private
    voice and placed 3rd in the NATS Vocal Competition. She has had many great opportunities to
    perform around town, including several conventions. Macy was a soloist in Home for the
    Holidays with the Orlando Philharmonic at the Bob Carr. She sang with the orchestra again in
    their holiday show performed at SeaWorld.  Macy has been in many different musicals including
    High School Musical (Sharpay), Striking 12 (SADD Light Seller), Children of Eden
    (Aphra/Snake) and Annie (Bonnie Boylan). Macy leads worship for her youth group and sings in
    the youth choir at church. Macy is very excited for the opportunity to work with children and
    pass on her love for the performing arts.


    Melanie Shulman
    Executive Director
    has over 20 years experience as an Instructor, actor and choreographer and this year marks her 17th
    year owning Impact. She is a graduate of The Hotchkiss School and Carnegie Mellon University where
    she received her BFA in Musical Theater and Drama. She is originally from NYC where she began
    dancing at the age of 3 and continued on to dance professionally playing the lead role of Clara in
    American Ballet Theater’s studio version of the Nutcracker at the age of 10.  After completing her
    education, she returned to NY and acted in a variety of classical and modern plays as well as TV
    commercials for Dristan and Budweiser, series for ABC Television- “Equal Justice” with Sarah Jessica
    Parker, the Independent Feature- “ZOO”, and Industrial Films for Lancôme Cosmetics. She has
    appeared on stage regionally in "Guys and Dolls" playing Adelaide opposite Barry Williams, Lola in
    Damn Yankees  and other productions that included such names as Jane Curtain and Jill Clayburgh.
    You can also see her on line in the series for Prentice Hall "Mastering Business". Moving to Connecticut
    in 1993, she opened Impact Center for the Fine Arts where she and her talented staff taught theater, art
    and dance to over 300 aspiring artists of all ages. Her clients included the children of such celebrities
    as Meryl Streep, Jill Clayburgh, Michael J. Fox, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgewick and Tracey Ullman. Ms.
    Shulman's students have gone on to professional careers on Broadway appearing in Annie Get you
    Gun, Steel Magnolias, Heartbreak House, and the National Tour of Annie. Since 2001 in Orlando , Ms.
    Shulman has been seen in National and Regional commercials for Disney, Universal Studios, Busch
    Gardens, Haverty's and Sonny's BBQ. She appeared on stage in Godspell at the Winter Park Playhouse
    for which she was also the assistant choreographer.She was also proud to choreograph the national
    TV commercial for Care plus Health Care .  Ms Shulman has taught all over Orlando including at the
    prestigious Orlando Ballet School. She continues to teach at private schools, directs children's theater ,
    and coaches voice and audition technique privately.  

    Impact's staff is talented, friendly, nurturing, knowledgeable and wonderful role models for children. We have all taught together for several years
    and regularly spend time together brainstorming on class ideas and ways to bring the arts into the lives of children. You will find that we are
    always approachable and truly want the best for your children. All of our classes are carefully thought out and researched to allow the most
    artistic growth and maximum learning in all levels of study. We always teach to the best of our abilities and to all abilities of the class. We are
    now teaching on a set curriculum that we developed together! We are truly dedicated to providing children the artistic tools they need to make
    life's journey a success!
    Alex Hartwig
    Dance and Drama
    Alex Hartwig has been dancing since age 10.  Some of her training includes hip hop, jazz, ballet, and
    tap.  She also has been singing since age 7 and acting since 8.  She has instructed dance classes at
    a local dance studio in Orlando.  She is a two-year officer of Thespian Troupe 4564 at her school, one
    of those positions being presidency.  She continues to train with dancing, singing, and acting.  She
    continues to participate in shows at her high school and plans to create a "Glee" club at her school.  
    She has been cast in many productions such as Gabriella in High School Musical, Shelly in Bat Boy, Ivy
    in Bare: A Pop Opera, and Lucy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown.  Performing has always been and
    will always be a huge part of her life and hopes to pursue this as a career for her entire life.  She
    performed with Orlando Youth Theatre's O-Kids in several areas around central Florida.  Along with
    Next Generation Kids performing at Sea World.  Alex enjoys teaching children about performing hoping
    that they'll share the same passion for it that she does.  The arts are such an important part of Alex's
    life and she hopes to inspire someone to be involved in it.  She will continue her passion for the arts in
    college within a year!

    Annie Trombo
    Dance and Drama
    Annie has 14 years of dance instruction, focused heavily on ballet but also incorporating
    lyrical and jazz. The bulk of her training was received at Showtime Dance Studio, however
    she received three years of training from Central Florida Ballet where she reached her
    childhood goal of being on pointe. Every year with Central Florida Ballet she also was cast
    in their annual Nutcracker. Along with dance training she also has deep roots in theatre. She
    has preformed twice with Helen Stairs Theatre, now the Wayne Densch Theatre. She
    received Best Performance by a Young Actress at the Lyre Awards for her performance as
    Lucifer the Cat in Cinderella. She also was cast in Orlando Youth Theatre's production of
    The Beauty and the Beast. She is an officer of two years of Thespian Troupe 2329 of
    Lyman High School. She has participated in every show since she first came to Lyman and
    can't wait to continue on with the next show. Babysittiing since she was in middle school
    and being an older sister, she is so excited to combine her love of theatre and dance with
    her love of children.
    Nicole Wormley
    Dance and Drama
    Nicole Wormley began dancing at the age of four in Palm Desert, California. Her family
    shortly moved to Florida where she studied with top teachers at Orlando Ballet School and
    Central Florida Ballet. Throughout her training she’s participated in numerous workshops,
    student companies, competitions and live performances. Nicole now dances in various
    showcases with a local performance company. In her late teens, Nicole officially changed
    her focus to acting. She has appeared in music videos, film and theatrical productions.
    Nicole finds great joy in sharing her love for the performing arts and teaches dance and
    drama at local schools around town.
